1967
Kamyr Installations is incorporated in British Columbia. Head Office is located in Vancouver.
Kamyr Incorporates Kamyr installations to service Digester and Fiberline systems installed in British Columbia. The company is owned 100% by Kamyr Canada Inc.
1986
Kamyr Enterprises is incorporated in Quebec. Head Office is located in Montreal.
Kamyr Inc. incorporates Kamyr Enterprises to install the equipment Kamyr Inc. sold to the Belgo Mill located in Shawinigan. The company is owned 100% by Kamyr Canada Inc.
1988
Kamyr Installations and Kamyr Enterprises are amalgamated into one Canadian Company.
The two Canadian entities owned by Kamyr Canada Inc. are incorporated into one organization. Offices are located in Montreal, QC and Vancouver, B.C. Work in Eastern Canada is performed under the Kamyr Enterprises name. Work in Western Canada is performed under Kamyr Construction. The company is owned 100% by Kamyr Canada Inc.
1991
Ahlstrom OY of Helsinki Finland acquired 100% interest in Kamyr Inc.
As a result of the Ahlstrom OY acquisition, Kamyr Enterprises Inc. becomes a member of the Ahlstrom group of companies
1995
Ahlstrom OY reorganizes the business units. The Ahlstrom Machinery Business unit is formed. Kamyr Enterprises Inc. is setup as a subsidiary of Kamtech Inc. Both Kamtech Inc. and Kamyr Enterprises are companies operating under the Ahlstrom Machinery Business Unit.
Kamyr Enterprises legal ownership is changed from being a subsidiary of Kamyr Canada Inc. to being a subsidiary of Kamtech Inc.
2000
Ahlstrom OY sells 50% of the Ahlstrom Machinery Group to Andritz Inc. Andritz does not want to purchase the Construction arm of the Ahlstrom Machinery Group. As a result, Kamtech Inc. and Kamyr Enterprises are carved out of the Ahlstrom Machinery Group and are setup as a 100% owned subsidiary of Ahlstrom USA.
Kamtech Inc. and Kamyr Enterprises operate as stand alone Construction companies and no longer are 100% associated with the OEM products that Ahlstrom Machinery designs and sells.
2001
Ahlstom OY sells the remaining 50% of the Ahlstrom Machinery group to Andritz Inc.
Kamtech Inc. and Kamyr Enterprises are 100% owned subsidiaries of Ahlstrom USA. As a result of the sale Kamyr Enterprises and Kamyr Construction can no longer use the ‘’Kamyr’’ name. Therefore, the business names change to KEI Enterprises and KCI Construction.
2002
Lauren Engineers & Constructors acquires from Ahlstrom Kamtech Inc., KEI Enterprises (Montreal), and KCI Construction (Vancouver).
Kamtech Services Inc. sets up office in Trois-Rivieres, QC.
Kamtech Services Inc. sets up office in Trois-Rivieres, QC.
Ownership changes from Ahlstrom USA to Lauren Engineers & Constructors.
2003
KEI Enterprises (Montreal) and KCI Construction (Vancouver) change business name to Kamtech Services Inc. Lauren sells Kamtech Inc.
Name changed so that the legal entity operated under one business name across Canada. Lauren retains the Canadian operation Kamtech Services Inc.
2006
Kamtech Services Inc. sets up office in Saskatoon, SK.
Both a Construction and Fabrication Facility have been set up to focus on the Saskatchewan market place.
